East Centric Arhitext Awards 2019 Shortlisted Projects

The time had finally come to announce the nominees for the East Centric Arhitext Awards (ECAA) contest!

The time has finally come to announce the nominees for the East Centric Arhitext Awards (ECAA) contest!  The international jury presided by the danish architect Marc Jay has deliberated and selected 5 to 7 nominees for each of the 6 sections of the competition (34 in total), out of a total of 134 selected projects.

The sections with more than 5 selected projects are those where several contestants obtained the same score. Here are the selected participants and their projects:

Between the 17th and 19th of October 2019, at the Bucharest Triennale, the nominees will present their projects in front of the public and the jury. After the presentation of the projects, the juries will designate the winner of each section. The winners will be announced on the 20th of October, at the East Centric Awards gala.

The 3rd edition of the Bucharest Triennale East Centric Architecture will take place in October, 7th-20th, 2019. The Triennale is organised by the Arhitext Design Foundation, editor of the Arhitext magazine, in partnership with the Romanian Order of Architects, the Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism, the Union of Romanian Architects and the Brâncovan Palaces Cultural Center of Mogoșoaia. The main topic of this edition, HOME|any|more|?, proposes an interrogative approach of the possibility of being at home in todays world.

 

The Triennale is organised by Arhitext Foundation and financed by the Architecture Stamp from the Romanian Order of Architects.
