TOMISLAV PAVELIĆ

In 2002. he established radio show The life of space (in the field of architectural theory and phenomenology) at Croatian radio III, which he edited until 2006., and in 2012. he is part of the

TOMISLAV PAVELIĆ got his diploma in architecture from Zagreb University in 1990., since when he is involved in architecture, essayism, custodian work and fine arts.

For achievements in designing he won Drago Galić award of Croatian association of architects in 2009., for family house in Rudeš in Zagreb (nominated also for EU Mies van der Rohe award in 2011.).

For essayism he won Neven Šegvić award of Croatian association of architects in 2015., for the book of selected essays On the clump of grass beneath the foot, and was nominated for the award at the 1st and 2nd edition of East Centric Architecture Triennale in Bucharest (Critical Discourse).

In 2002. he established radio show The life of space (in the field of architectural theory and phenomenology) at Croatian radio III, which he edited until 2006., and in 2012. he is part of the team that established radio show The reality of space, between poetics and politics (at the same radio) for which he did numerous interviews with the representatives of both Croatian and world architecture and architectural theory and phenomenology.

In 2012. he was commissioner and custodian of Croatian pavilion at 13th International exhibition of architecture in Venice (Venice biennale).
